2017-2018, 21 -23 January Paris the designer showed her latest collection at Salon International de la Lingerie fashion collections included resort wear, lingerie and loungewear shown at Porte De Versailles over several days with many international famous designers.
The new resort wear collection for Tropice La Mode shown with other designers in amazing fashion shows twice daily at Porte De Versailles in Paris, France. The first time the designer showed her designs in Paris on the catwalk with other designers in amazing capacity filled runway shows. The new 2017 -2018 Fashion Collection is intended for anyone wishing to go on a tropical holiday where their wardrobe includes a range of options and occasions e.g. wedding / a special celebration. Fabric focus is a French vintage print design digitally printed on a range of fabrics: soft, feminine and sensual colours. The designer embellishes the fabrics by using hand embroidery, beading, or appliqued vintage pieces to give them a unique look different from mass produced garments. She considers the aesthetics of her fabrics favouring natural high quality fabrics or blends including silks, cottons, blends that shape to the body and are comfortable to wear including environmentally friendly fabrics such as the French jacquards used for the swimwear. Fabrics and trims are from her private collection, sourcing also fabrics from Europe and elsewhere.
Marg Talbi from Adelaide, South Australia and all garments are produced proudly locally : 100% Australian content as the quality of cut and construction is important to both designer and her clients. Some garments are couture original pieces cut by hand and made individually, a selection are ready to wear but made in limited numbers.
